Braille Printer Project:

The Braille printer will support the teachers in their efforts to educate Bangladesh’s visually impaired children. New books and lessons are essential for the children’s development, and Braille books are rare in Bangladesh as there are no specialized Braille printers in the country. A Braille printer will help the children learn to read and write so they can overcome their disabilities.

With your help, GDF can bring these children one step closer to attaining a higher education, reaching their full potential, and achieving their dreams.

Braille Writing Tools:

Lisa Bridgeman, a chef and student of the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, and Lisa Morden joined efforts and donated the braille writing tools. They generously donated styli, pins, Braille paper and hearing aids. We thank them both for their generous support! Sania and Badrul Ameen brought the materials to the GDF school during recent their recent trip to Bangladesh. The students of GDF where extremely happy and thankful.
